Cow’s cheese Elassona

The Semi-Hard Cow’s Cheese is a typical, pale yellow, semi-hard cheese, made from cow’s milk, produced in the wider region of Thessaly and central/western Macedonia. The perfect balance between moisture and aridity helps it stand out for its firm texture, pleasant taste and characteristic aroma It is free from antibiotics, artificial colourings, additives and genetically modified organisms It is a high quality table cheese. It is widely used as a main ingredient in a number of recipes, such as fondue, pasta, salads and pies. Ideally, the attractive aspects of Semi-hard Cow’s are brought out when accompanied by mild or stronger wines.
