For the past 100 years, Bizios Dairy Industry has been offering high-quality cheese products that combine pure raw materials and traditional cheese-making techniques, technological excellence and extensive know-how.
In 1927, Nikolaos Bizios founded the first family-owned dairy in Samarina. In 1946, his son Georgios relocated the business to a small plant in Elassona, Olympos, where he produced feta cheese, kaseri and kefalotyri. In 1973, the company passed on to the third generation, the brothers Zissis and Nikolaos Bizios, and in 1997 it was converted into a joint-stock company. Since 2007, the family’s fourth generation has been at the helm and continues the long cheese-making tradition with undiminished passion. Showing respect for the knowledge and experience of the past, but with our eyes firmly fixed on the future.
